a "honu ohana" wind chime: 亀?の風鈴

This lovely wind chime was a gift from a friend. Before I left Hawaii, we had lunch at a small restaurant that serves traditional Hawaiian food. Every dish was delicious. However, it was the first and last authentic Hawaiian meal that I had. I should have known about the restaurant. I would have dined there often.

My friend gave me the chime after we enjoyed the lunch.

In the Hawaiian language, sea turtle is honu. And family is ohana. This might not be correct, but I heard that honu is a Hawaiian god for the family.

I think I got the idea of the name of our school, ohana, looking at this wind chime.
